About Santaworld

Santaworld is a 11 hectare area located just below Gesundaberget about 17 km from Mora. In this beautiful forest amongst lakes and waterfalls is the solid timbered buildings that is Santa's little village. Here you can find Santa´s real home, his large workshop, the schoolhouse, the trollhouse and the restaurant. There are also stables and a small pasture. The park opened in 1984.
In 1995 the concept was extended to include a fairytale world  and characters from Norse mythology and the Swedish folk tale which was incorporated along with the myth of Santa Claus.
In 2005 as we started the expansion of the park into a more extensive wonderland, we built the trollhouse.
Here at Santaworld we have focused on the concept of "living theater" with the goal to create a genuine experience and quality product that gives life to Santa and other fairytale characters and their lives in a fairytale world.

The theater experience is, therefore, Santaworld basic product, being added:

• Display of the animals (moose and reindeer all year round)
• Restaurants
• Retail Sales
• Conferences and Events
• Shows and entertainment production

As a complement to the park experience we have a number of activities to do on your own around the park, depending if it´s our summer or winter season.

Summer Complements: game fishing, swimming, farm animals, horses and wagon, kiddierides etc.

Winter complements: Horses and sleigh, torchlight procession, fireworks, baking gingerbread cookies etc.

At wintertime Santa Claus and other Christmas and winter characters are in focus, and in summer we put our focus on trolls, elves and other fairy tale characters from our Nordic folk tale.
